IT'S NOT A REVIEW – Meet Sybil and Lea in the virtual bar for a post show chat about Sydney Theatre

I WANT TO SLEEP WITH TOM STOPPARD – BY TOBY SCHMITZ
DIRECTED BY LELAND KEAN
TAMARAMA ROCK SURFERS – BONDI PAVILION
29 AUGUST – 22 SEPTEMBER 2012
Sybil: I have a new theatre crush… the writer, Toby Schmitz, is amazing (more on that in later reviews). This is a modern theatre of manners. Think up-to-date Noel Coward – witty, articulate and, at times, biting insight into Eastern suburbs Sydney. A four hander with four evenly matched virtuoso performances of what is my favourite new work in years.
I know I sound like I’m gushing, but you have to trust me: if it was still going, I’d drag you along because anyone who loves theatre should have seen this show.
Lea: Oh you witty comedy of manners, talking to me like you know a part of me. Wicked Toby Schmitz. What an absolutely fabulous ride. You made me feel funny and clever and part of your absurd world. We were privileged to be a part of a post-show chat, that only added to the experience.
